People We Meet On Vacation took viewers on a journey as it reached No. 1 on the English film list with 17.2 million views last week. Based on Emily Henry’s 2021 best-selling novel of the same name — which returned to the New York Times Best Seller list and the Amazon Book Charts in anticipation of the film’s release — the rom-com is about free-spirited Poppy (Emily Bader) and routine-loving Alex (Tom Blyth), who maintain their unlikely friendship through yearly summer vacations and begin to wonder if their friendship could translate into a lasting love.

In addition to a will they, won’t they romance, viewers were sucked into the he said, she said intrigue of His & Hers, putting the thriller series at No. 1 on the English TV list with 19.9 million views. Tessa Thompson plays Anna, a reporter who’s estranged from her husband, Jack, a detective played by Jon Bernthal. They’re reunited by a murder in their sleepy Georgia town: She’s reporting on the crime and he’s investigating it, but both think the other is a prime suspect, leading to a jaw-dropping conclusion.

Speaking of conclusions, viewers continued to stream the final season of a beloved series, putting Stranger Things 5 at No. 3 on the list with 9.3 million views. The season also moved up to No. 6 on the Most Popular English TV list with 115 million views. All five seasons of the series remained in the Top 10 for a seventh week, with Season 1 at No. 4 (5 million views), Season 2 at No. 6 (4.5 million views), Season 3 at No. 7 (4.4 million views), and Season 4 at No. 8 (4.1 million). The documentary One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 is now streaming, providing an in-depth look behind the scenes of the epic final season.

At No. 2 on the English TV list, with 15.6 million views, was Run Away, which lured in Harlan Coben fans and mystery enthusiasts everywhere looking to discover where Paige (Ellie de Lange) disappeared to as her father, Simon (James Nesbitt), searches for clues. An escalating string of murders raises the stakes for Paige and her family.
