Get your Razzles ready: It’s time for a new generation to learn what it means to be “30, flirty, and thriving.” People We Meet on Vacation director Brett Haley (All the Bright Places, All Together Now) is reimagining 13 Going on 30, the beloved Jennifer Garner rom-com, for Netflix. Emily Bader (The 99’ers, People We Meet on Vacation) and Logan Lerman (Oh, Hi!, Only Murders in the Building) will lead the star-studded cast.
13 Going on 30 will be Haley and Bader’s first collaboration after People We Meet on Vacation, in which the actor starred as the lovable Poppy. Haley “couldn’t be more excited to reunite” with his previous leading lady.
“She and the amazingly talented Logan Lerman are a magical pairing,” says the director. “I feel incredibly lucky to be trusted with something that means so much to so many people.”
While plot details are still under wraps, we do know Bader and Lerman will be joined by Jessica Alba (Too Much), Taylor Ortega (Big Mistakes), and Our Little Secret co-stars Tim Meadows and Dan Bucatinsky, along with Taylor Zakhar Perez (The Kissing Booth 3), Owen Thiele (Too Much), Nasim Pedrad (Desperados), Supriya Ganesh (The Pitt), and many more. And not to worry, the reboot has Jenna Rink’s stamp of approval: Garner is executive producing.
“13 Going on 30 is one of those rare, perfect films,” says Haley. “Funny, emotional, [and] deeply human, with unforgettable performances from Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, and Judy Greer. I’m a longtime fan, so stepping into this reimagining comes with tremendous responsibility. Jennifer Garner being on board as an executive producer, after playing such a big part of what made the original special, is especially meaningful.”

Haley is the director of the 13 Going on 30 reboot. His previous film with Netflix, People We Meet on Vacation, spent four weeks on the Global Top 10 Movies (English), and made the Top 10 Movies in 92 countries.
Hannah Marks (Mark, Mary, & Some Other People, After Everything) wrote the screenplay with revisions by Flora Greeson (The Princess Diaries 3, The High Note).
