The search is over for viewers looking for their next great mystery. Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You pursued the No. 1 spot on the English TV list with 24 million views. This marks the biggest original Netflix series debut of 2026. Hailed by Variety as a “captivating experience,” the series’ critical and popular reception is a testament to Netflix’s ongoing creative partnership with the author, which includes 13 successful adaptations and the forthcoming Myron Bolitar series. Sam Worthington plays David Burroughs, a father serving a life sentence for murdering his own son five years ago. Burroughs has maintained his innocence, but when his sister-in-law, Rachel (Britt Lower), visits him with evidence that his child may still be alive, he uncovers a web of deception that takes him on the run from prison to discover the truth.

Speaking of webs of deception, true crime documentary Maternal Instinct was pushed to No. 1 on the English film list with 25.5 million views. The film covers the unspeakable crimes of Taylor Parker, a small-town Texan who was pulled over for erratic driving in 2020. She claimed she’d just given birth in the car and was then arrested at the hospital when her story proved false. The depths of her deceit and offenses are revealed as investigators speak with those close to her.

Viewers answered the call for romance, putting new movie Voicemails for Isabelle at No. 2 on the list with 17.5 million views. Zoey Deutch plays Jill, who deals with the pressures of her job as a chef in San Francisco and the difficult dating scene by confiding in her sister, Isabelle (Ciara Bravo). When Isabelle is no longer there for her to rant to, she leaves voicemails instead. But Jill is unaware that the number has been reassigned to real estate agent Wes (Nick Robinson), who’s listening to the messages and falling for her. At No. 2 on the English TV list was Outlast: The Jungle with 3.9 million views. Fans of the original series ventured into the unforgiving Panamanian jungle with 16 strangers who must survive on nothing but basic supplies, teamwork, and their own ingenuity to win the $1 million prize.

Netflix’s most popular filmKPop Demon Hunters, celebrated its one-year anniversary last week, as well as its 53rd week in the Top 10 at No. 6 on the English film list with 3.6 million views. The movie has hit plenty of milestones, but those aren’t the only numbers that tell the story of this animated phenomenon. Animated adventure Swapped continued to charm in its eighth week as it took the No. 5 spot with 4.9 million views. It’s the tale of two sworn-enemy creatures who, after a body-swap mishap, embark on a wild journey together.
