Zoey Deutch plays Jill, who deals with the pressures of her job as a chef in San Francisco and the difficult dating scene by confiding in her sister, Isabelle (Ciara Bravo). When Isabelle is no longer there for her to rant to, she leaves voicemails instead. The Polygamist landed at No. 2 on the list, earning 7.7 million views. Based on a novel by Zimbabwean author Sue Nyathi, the 22-episode South African supernovela centers on the downfall of a man (S’dumo Mtshali) because of greed and lust — and a cunning wife (Gugu Gumede) who’ll stop at nothing to save her family’s reputation. Straw co-stars Taraji P. Henson and Sherri Shepherd have both taken to social media to express their fervor for the series.
