Rashida Jones Discusses Her Return to Black Mirror, Her Family, and More on Skip Intro

Rashida Jones is no stranger to the Black Mirror universe. From co-writing the hit episode “Nosedive” to being a megafan of the series, the actor, writer, and filmmaker now takes a lead role in the new Season 7 opener, “Common People.” On Skip Intro with Krista Smith, Jones reveals why her character felt like “the most acting” of any of her performances ,and how creating a relatable, natural dynamic was especially essential to this story. Jones, who this month was honored as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025, also expresses her unabashed rejection of society's anti-aging pressures and reflects on the recent passing of her father, Quincy Jones.
