How ‘Orange Is the New Black’ Changed These Women’s Lives

Orange Is the New Black fearlessly tackled women’s issues throughout its seven seasons, and 10 years after the series first premiered, that legacy lives on through the Poussey Washington Fund. Created by the OITNB team and named for the beloved character played by Samira Wiley, the fund donates to eight nonprofits focused on criminal justice reform, immigrants’ rights and supporting those affected by mass incarceration.

Hear more about the initiative from Wiley in the video above, along with stories from Orange Is the New Black fans about how the show impacted their lives.
