Up to eight players use their phones or tablets to find words amongst a grid of random letters, swiping to mark each word. Your TV serves as a scoreboard, showing the found words and tallying up everyone’s scores. Whoever finds the words, or words with the most letters, wins. You can also play solo while you’re waiting for the rest of the party to arrive.
LEGO Party! (play here) is a collection of mini-games that might just test the limits of your friendships. As in the Mario Party games, you navigate your way around a game board and try to rack up as many golden bricks as possible. You can do this in many ways — by playing short-order cook, matching minifig heads, and sword throwing. Battle up to four friends to see who can collect the most donuts from a dragon’s lair, and then see how far you can slide across an icy pond. And that’s just the beginning — there are 60 mini-games in all.
Customization is at the heart of the LEGO universe, and you’ll find plenty of that in this game. With Minigame Rush, you can create custom playlists from the bevy of activities available. As you play LEGO Party!, you’ll earn experience points that unlock new ways to tweak your minifig’s appearance. You can also mix and match pieces from iconic LEGO sets like LEGO Pirates, LEGO Space, and LEGO NINJAGO.
Everyone thinks they’re an artist until it’s time to show off their skills in public. You’ll race against the clock in Pictionary: Game Night (play here) to decipher the doodles of your friends and family. Pictionary: Game Night puts one wannabe Picasso in the spotlight while everyone else has to guess.
The artist in question sketches their masterpiece on their phone, and it’s displayed on the big screen in real time. Should someone guess correctly, both they and the artist get points — the faster the correct guess, the more points. Then it’s the next artist’s turn. Whoever has the most points after three rounds wins.
The influence of Tetris on video games might just be unrivaled. And now you can play it on Netflix with your friends in Tetris Time Warp (play here). It’s the Tetris everyone knows and loves, with a twist: Every time you clear lines of tetrominoes — which look a little, shall we say, retro — you’re warped back to historic versions of Tetris as a special bonus round.
Each time warp has its own rules. For example, some versions don’t have “hard drop,” while others may limit tetromino rotation. Clear the challenge, and you’ll rack up bonus points and head back to the modern era.
Inviting yourself to a party is a bad look. You might be able to play it off if you’re subtle enough, but there are bound to be at least a few people who know you’re there of your own accord. That’s the premise of Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends (play here), a bonkers game of bluffing, fibbing, and hidden information. The goal? Figuring out who the party crasher is.
Party Crashers is for three to six players, and all but one will know the secret word for any given round. The invitees give each other hints to describe the secret word, and they make sense to everyone except the person who doesn’t know the word. Players type the hints on their phones, while the big screen is the main display with everyone’s scores.
After hints are submitted, it’s time to vote. Did someone’s hint seem just a little too vague? Smash that Sus button on the big screen. Then the group deliberates and votes on the identity of the party-crasher. If someone’s hint gets voted 100% Sus, it’s time for that person to explain themselves. Games last between two and five rounds.

The Stranger Things courses are set in Hawkins, where Demogorgons pop up alongside the fairway to swat or bellow errant balls off your intended path.
But lowest stroke count alone won't seal the deal here. Knock rivals off the leaderboard with a well-timed cyclone that sends their ball askew, or aim straight for their ball to pick up bonus points off the collision. It's part putt-putt, part pinball, part Mario Kart — and entirely anarchic.
