On the eve of My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 release, over 20,000 people gathered for a special virtual event to usher in the series’ new chapter. Fans buzzed with excitement at the prospect of getting answers to all their burning questions after Season 2’s dramatic finale.

The night delivered plenty of surprises for the dedicated horde: an early screening of Episode 1, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, bespoke games, and even appearances from Silver Falls’ finest: Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, and Ashby Gentry.

Missed the event, or just want to relive it? Tudum has all the highlights, from cast confessions to Season 3 fan theories and an unforgettable chat.

Fans around the world turned the premiere into one big watch party

Fans couldn’t wait for the event to begin, firing off emojis and diving headfirst into some of the series’ hottest debates in the chat. As emoji flags from Germany, Ireland, Mexico, India, Brazil, and beyond revealed, people were dialing in from around the world. Even though it was late at night or early in the morning for some of the international attendees, everyone was bubbling over with enthusiasm for the early screening. As one user put it, “It’s kinda sweet how we’re all here and gonna watch together.”

The chat quickly proved just how dedicated the fandom is: One person said, “I got married today and had to watch this before I went to bed.” Yet another told their fellow event-goers, “This is the first time in the entire summer break that I have woken up before my mom, all thanks to this.” Another shared, “I fell into my pool I was so excited.”

Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry welcomed fans

Gentry and LaLonde kicked off the event with a special welcome message for fans, sharing a few housekeeping notes and teasing a little of the behind-the-scenes fun to come.

Fans warmed up for the episode’s drama with a friendly game of “This or That?” Team Cole easily defeated Team Alex in the night’s first poll. When asked to choose the show’s best first date, viewers crowned the Snow Festival over the rodeo. Love triangles also edged out friends-to-lovers as the fandom’s preferred romance trope — hardly a surprise for My Life with the Walter Boys fans. And when it came to choosing a preferred locale between the Walter Ranch and New York, Silver Falls won by a landslide.

Forgot what happened in Season 2? Luckily for you, the virtual event also included a recap from when we last left our favorite ranch family. And looking back on all that happened, a recap was more than welcome: All of Season 2’s drama concludes in a climactic final scene that includes George Walter (Marc Blucas) being rushed off in an ambulance, only seconds after Alex (Gentry) overhears Jackie (Rodriguez) tell Cole (LaLonde) she has feelings for him.

Episode 1 immediately sent the chat into a meltdown

After the recap, the event started screening Episode 1 of Season 3. Fans immediately filled the chat with theories about the season, wondering who Jackie will choose, hoping that George is ok, craving the sweet scenes between Katherine and Jackie, and wondering when Jackie’s childhood friend Eliot (Naveen Paddock) will appear.

Noah LaLonde surprised everyone by jumping into the chat

Midway through the watch party, LaLonde popped into the chat to join the fun, to much excitement. “This is a dream come true,” more than one fan said, while another added, “I talk about you so much that my dad knows you.” One fan even joked, “I told myself I’d get a tattoo if Noah LaLonde was on this livestream.”

A few fans also let LaLonde know they were celebrating birthdays, and he happily sent along his best wishes. “It’s my 18th birthday today. This is the best gift ever,” one user shared. Another reminisced about how she’d met the TV star years before: “Met you in 2023 at Erma’s ice cream MI, I was in a soccer uniform. Still a huge fan!”

Fans’ excitement never dulled throughout the episode, but during the final waterfall scene, it reached a fever pitch. “THE SCREAM I SCRUMPT,” one said, with another chiming in, “Omg I woke up my family oops.” To say Team Cole was pleased by Jackie and Cole’s nature-set reunion and memorable kiss would be an understatement, and they took a victory lap in the chat: “This show makes me believe in love again.”

But Team Cole wasn’t the only group that had plenty to celebrate. Fans across the board were overjoyed by the episode. “This episode was perfect, thank you so much.” “Best day in Netflix history.” And of course, with the series now streaming on Netflix, the sneak peek only made fans more excited to watch the rest of the season after Episode 1’s cliffhanger: “Six more hours till I will be binge watching this.” “Tomorrow is a dedicated binge day.”

Nikki Rodriguez Answers Your Burning My Life with the Walter Boys Questions

Nikki Rodriguez dialed in from the Season 4 set

After the episode ended, Rodriguez took time to answer fans’ questions from the set of Season 4, which recently began filming. “I’m actually on set in Calgary filming Season 4, and I’m so excited for you all to see what’s coming. I got a quick break, so I thought I’d stop by to answer some of your questions about the episode and the show,” she said.

Her favorite scene to film? “The scene with George when he comes back to the house and tells Jackie he understands why she didn’t come to the hospital. He’s kind of like that last voice of reason that tells her life is unpredictable, and so you should go for what you want. It’s a really sweet moment.” Watch the entire video on Tudum for the rest of her answers to fans’ questions.

Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry spilled behind-the-scenes secrets

Next, LaLonde and Gentry go behind the scenes of a few of Episode 1’s most pivotal moments. Watch the videos in full on Tudum to hear more, or keep reading for a few of the highlights.

First up: that shirtless Cole scene. “It was obviously a huge scene for us to do because it’s the first one-on-one time that Jackie and Cole have had since the big reveal of their emotions at the end of Season 2,” says LaLonde. “I think maybe they could have even chatted for longer, if Cole wasn’t just in a towel, because it’s created this certainly intense dynamic that had he been wearing a sweater, maybe they could have sat down and had a chat.”

Then Gentry takes us back behind the chute gate for a dramatic rodeo training scene — and he shares that it’s just as intense filming these scenes as it looks: “The horse that plays Murphy just took off, and I was on his back. That was fun because I got to hold on for dear life. Our pickup men quickly swooped in, and I grabbed onto one of them. That was a pretty thrilling encounter on set.”

When it comes to the brunch scene, both LaLonde and Gentry share how tempted they were to dig in. The pair also reflect on Alex and Cole’s emotional conversation about Jackie — a scene that resonated with fans. Offscreen, Gentry says their brotherly bond comes naturally: “It really feels like I’m working with my brother.” Gentry tackled Alex's pull-ups himself, without a stunt double. Finally, LaLonde admits that he was just as shocked by the waterfall scene as fans might have been. “It was the culmination of two seasons of their relationship building into this thing. But it happened kind of quickly, which excited me because it made me think that that’s not what the season was going to be about. There was going to be more about that.” Head to Netflix to find out what this season will be about.

The biggest takeaway? Fans didn’t want the night to end

One thing that remained constant throughout the event was fans’ delight in sharing the new episode and behind-the-scenes treats with each other. Fans expressed this joy with an astounding 3 million emoji reactions over the course of the event. “I’m so glad I decided to RSVP,” one fan said. “The chat itself is a nice experience.”
