You know what they say: “When there’s something strange in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call?” That’s right, you’re gonna call Marlon Wayans and Priah Ferguson. In the new horror comedy The Curse of Bridge Hollow, the respective stars of White Chicks and Stranger Things take on a pesky poltergeist who’s bringing Halloween decorations to life. They’re not quite the Ghostbusters, but they’ll have to do their best. You can check out some first-look photos below.

In The Curse of Bridge Hollow, Wayans and Ferguson play a father-daughter duo who team up to face a supernatural menace that’s haunting their hometown. The film also stars Kelly Rowland as Ferguson’s mom (dressed as some kind of bug in the first-look photos), along with Rob Riggle, John Michael Higgins, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Holly J. Barrett, Myles Perez, Abi Monterey and Helen Slayton-Hughes as other Bridge Hollow denizens.
Ferguson, of course, is no stranger to facing down the supernatural; once you’ve helped the Hellfire Club fight Vecna to a standstill, there’s not much that can phase a young actor. Wayans, meanwhile, comes to Bridge Hollow almost equally prepared, as the star of multiple Scary Movie films. Maybe these two will be OK after all.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow hits Netflix on Oct. 14. Make sure to bring some candy corn.
