Finding your next watch on Netflix is about to become that much easier. A new TV experience is headed your way, and it comes with better recommendations and an improved interface that highlights what matters most to you. Yep, things are getting (even more) personal.

Read on to learn more about all the upgrades hitting your homepage soon.

When does the new TV experience launch?

The redesign will roll out globally over the next few weeks, beginning May 19.

When will I get it?

Most TVs and TV streaming devices will be eligible for the new TV experience when it launches, with more devices set to be added as the roll-out continues. It’ll be easy to tell if you’re in new territory — just look out for a welcome message that’ll help walk you through your upgraded homepage.

What’s new?

There’s a lot to get excited about! All the updates are designed to make choosing easier, because decision fatigue is real. You can look forward to new features like:

  • Simpler navigation: Shortcuts to Search, Shows, Movies, Games, and My Netflix (more on that below) are now located at the top of your screen and always visible.

  • Responsive recommendations: Find what you want, when you want it. Now as you watch, explore, and engage with titles, you’ll get fresh rows of recommendations served up in real time. Your homepage will respond to your viewing and browsing history, so you can quickly find something that suits your mood in the moment.

A Romantic Comedy Movies row may surface for members who just engaged with ‘Set It Up.’

  • Your own My Netflix hub: Consider this your personal oasis to keep track of all the stuff that matters to you — where you left off on that show, what you plan to watch next, and more. Check back here to find what’s in your Continue Watching, My List, and Remind Me.

  • Detailed information about each title: Having a hard time choosing between this show or that movie? We’ve been there. With the new interface, you can discover what makes each title worth the watch before you commit to pressing play. Preview a title’s synopsis, runtime, award wins, Top 10 history, or key cast all up-front while you browse.

From real-time recommendations to your own personal Netflix hub, there are so many ways to find your next favorite with the new TV experience. Get ready for an elevated homepage that’s uniquely yours!
