The Maloof family lives and breathes cars, whether it’s building engines, stunt driving or racing. Follow Sammy Maloof and his daughters in Season 1 of Drive Hard: The Maloof Way as they give clients the competitive edge with customized upgrades to their race cars and perform breathtaking stunts. This season also features special guests: comedian and radio personality Adam Carolla and host of The Car Chasers Jeff Allen.

Sammy runs his own engine shop with his family and is also a professional stuntman with over 25 years of experience working in Hollywood. As a stunt driver, he mentors his twin daughters, Kaitlyn and Meghan, working closely with them on coordinating and performing stunts for movies, commercials and music videos. A gearhead through and through, he diagnoses engine problems by listening. He passes on his knowledge to his eldest daughter, Hannah, and offers sage wisdom from his street racing days to every client, making sure that both driver and car are primed to win the next race.
Maloof has performed stunts in numerous blockbuster films, such as 2 Fast 2 Furious, Rush Hour and Gone in 60 Seconds. He recently worked on Guy Ritchie’s action thriller Wrath of Man.

Hannah is lead mechanic and Sammy’s right hand at the Maloof engine shop, as well as an up-and-coming drag racer. Like her father, she has a keen ear for engine problems and quickly picks up on any other car issues. Working closely with her younger brother, Trevor, and cousin Josh, Hannah delegates inspections and repairs, while putting up with their antics. On the racetrack, she’s calm and focused and lets her car do the talking.

Along with her twin sister, Meghan, Kaitlyn (pictured on the left) apprentices as a professional stunt driver. From helping coordinate and set up stunts to performing them, Kaitlyn is learning the ropes. She describes her approach to stunt driving as less cautious than Meghan’s, preferring to just “go for it.” Sharing a friendly competition with her twin, she aims to pull off more difficult stunts.

While not as headstrong as her twin sister, Meghan is on par with Kaitlyn as a stunt driver, and her more measured approach serves her well when taking on more technical stunts. And if something goes wrong, she collects herself and comes back to get the job done right.
